What a beautiful '69 firebird,it looks great in Midnight green. You can't beat 4 speed and air.

@artistmac This was always my favorite year for these cars. My late father had a 1968 GTO purchased new from Gordon Pontiac in Joliet.

These 400s were runners and this one sounds very nice. Sweet, hollow sounding exhaust. Most importantly, it looks original! It kills me when I see classics with mag wheels, crate motors, and non-factory colors. It doesn't make sense to me but if someone has the money to buy one, I guess they can do what they want. No respect for history.

@bg147 That's the great think about Dave; he's meticulous both with his cars and his customers' cars. Take a look at the video of his Indian Red '69 Firebird convertible elsewhere on my channel. He restored that one from a virtual wreck.

I like the Royal Pontiac license plate frames. As well preserved as the car that wears them.

@Tubernaut Amen:) And he's just as meticulous with the mechanical work he does for his customers.

Is it just me or does the Firebird/Trans Am look like the Camaro a little bit?

@GTFOJerome They were always built off the same body, but Pontiac always found ways -- grille and taillights, side trim -- to make the Firebird a little flashier than the Camaro. And there was no mistaking a 2nd generation TransAm for a Z28 -- or any other car on the road, for that matter.
