  • OK IM RUINING WINDOW 2003 SERVER AND TRY TO CREATE A DOMAIN FOR 3 WINDOWS XP PRO COMPUTERS BUT IT KEEP SAYING UNALBE TO CONNECT TO DOMAIN CONTROLER WHEN I TYPE IN MY DOMAIN ADDARESS AND ALL THAT COULD YOU PLZ HELP PLZ EMAIL ME AT rockstar9882 @ gmail.com thank you

  • @Rockstar9882 I am guessing your DNS settings are incorrect on the XP machines. Make sure the DNS settings point to the IP address of your domain controller.

  • The step-by-step instructions are INCREDIBLY helpful. One of the better tutorials I've seen on youtube for server setup!

  • @K7Sniper Thank you much! Glad it was able to help ya out!

  • Hey Great Videos, I have watched through many of them and I was wondering how you ended up resolving the connectivity issue you had the yellow exclamation point? I noticed by Video # 7 the yellow exclamation point is gone, which video did you resolve it in?

  • @25panthersfan Thanks for the kind words. I hope to put more out soon. For the yellow exclamation point, are you talking about the network icon in the system tray? If so, I don't remember LOL. I think it eventually fixed itself to be honest... I think the icon wasn't "refreshing" or something, very strange.

  • Too small to see anything.

  • @werthero You are correct, that is strange. Not sure why you would be able to log in under all of those.

  • Hi. After setting up the server as domain controller, i have a strange problem.

I can log in to server using COOL\administrator, HOT\administrator, BAD\administrator whatever... That is strange. Help please

  • @darwing36 Thanks man! As I put more and more videos out, it's clear to me that everyone is looking for a tutorial that "fits their learning". I try to keep things short so they don't get boring (got a few bad comments for rambling on in the past), but sometimes I do try and explain things a certain way because I had run into learning issues with certain topics, which if they were explained to me the way I explain them, it would have helped.
