Injuries and Illnesses: A Jonas Family Story~Chapter 21

recap: The spell was successful, Nick is sick, Joe will most likely get sick also.

Joe's POV
I couldn't fall asleep that night for two reasons. One: i was worried that if I went to sleep i wouldn't wake back up. And two: I didn't quite feel well. Not sick enough to puke, but sick. I just layed in bed all night and closed my eyes, hoping I would eventually fall asleep.

The next morning I was woken by excruciating pain in my head. Great...a migrane!! Why do I have to be one that gets migranes?! I went into my bathroom and got out my migrane medication. I took two tablets as instructed and then climbed back into my bed. Kevin came in a couple minutes later.

"Hey Joe. How's it going?" Kevin greeted me.
"Eh..Alright. I have a migrane, but I took my meds so It should be gone shortly.
"Alright. Just get some rest. You could be getting the same thing that nick has. I'll come up and check on you later." he said, walking out of the room.
"K." I responded, drifting asleep once again.

Lexi's POV (sry it been a while since the sisters have been in)
I woke up feeling great about my life. Im not sure why, but I did. I was just in an over all great mood!

"Dani!! Wake up!!" I shouted, excitement in my voice.
"Ugh, Why?" Dani questioned, exhausted.
"Let's go to the park or skip around outside or go for a jog!" I suggested. It was a beautiful day outside.
"How about when its not seven in the morning sis?" she yawned.
"But-" I was cut off.
"GO BACK TO SLEEP!" Dani shouted harshly.
"No! I'll just call Glydel!" I said.

I dialed her number.
"Hello?" Glydel's groggy voice on the other line answered.
"Hey Glydel!! Do you wanna go run to the park with me?" I asked.
"Its seven in the morning and you wanna go for a run?" she questioned, confused.
"Heck yeah! Its a beutiful day!" I responded.
"Eh...maybe later," Glydel answered.
"Fine..." I sighed, and I hung up the phone.

Kevins POV
Mom and Dad had to go into work early this morning to leave for a three day business trip, so I was watching the kids while they were gone. I decided to call Andee to come help me. I dialed her number.

"Hey Kev! Wassup?" Andee's giddy voice asked.
"Nothing much. Im just watching the kids while my parents are gone, but I was wondering if you could come over and help out today. Both Joe and Nick are a bit under the weather." I explained.
"Of course. I'll be over soon!" she said.
"Kay. See ya soon!" I said, hanging up the phone.

I also decided to call Molly, my girlfriend.
"Hey Molly!" I greeted over the phone.
"Hey Kevin!" she responded. "I missed you!"
"I missed you too! You wanna come over this afternoon or this morning to help me watch the kids...well Nick," I asked.
"Of course!! I'll be over in like five minutes! I love your family!" she squealed and hung up. This was starting off to be a wonderful day.

Nicks POV
I finally woke up. I had basically been sleeping in the bathroom. I felt slightly better this morning, but not by much. My stomach still felt queasy, and I still had a bit of a headache. But my headache was deffinately more low-key than last night. The only major difference was that my throat burned a little from being sick all night. I went into the guest room where Kevin had me sleep last night, and I crawled into the bed. I heard the doorbell ring, and before I knew it Molly was up there with me taking my temperature and forcing meds down my throat.
