wallah hom tholeh el 3rakyeen el asharaf. my dad's friend is an old Iraqi Jewish lives here in Canada. I am Shai Muslim but my dad always tought me to respect other people religion. He always told me that Iraqi Jewish were very prominent community they use to make up 45% of Baghdad population. so bad that they left, they were very smart people in Economy. We lost and we continue to lose great people based on religion and stupidness. My dream is to come vist Israel to vist Iraqi jewish community.

My heart is very saddened to see anyone that had to leave their home. I am in Iraqi, muslim and shia. I dream of in iraq where jews, christians and muslims can live side by side as they have done for more than a thousand years. I really wish to go to isreal now and talk to these iraqis and hear their stories of the old times.

To anyone jews that might feel resentful towards the iraqi muslim majority, remember that we all have experienced tribulations.

I feel the story of the iraqi jew is like the story of the 3 Buffalo and the lion

in iraq there were these buffolos jewish buffolo, muslim (sunni and shia) buffolo, christian buffolo, kurdish buffolo

the lion is fitna

one time the lion said to the other buffolos lets get rid of the jewish buffulo and let me eat him, so they did, then the kurdish and shia, then the sunni and the christians

@Iraqishereef Very true!! majority of people in baghdad were iraqi jews.Back then iraqi jews in iraq were not a small group of people.Iraqi jews from all parts of iraq made a lot.Even iraqi christians couple of decades ago made around 10% to 14%.So i am sure jews probably made around that amount.But of course jews left their mesoptamian homeland and iraqi christians decreased in numbers because many have been leaving iraq since 1900's.

@davidallany1 Same here :) i am from southern iraq and the town i came from used to be mostly a jewish and shia muslim town.My mother told me many stories of how jews were in iraq and how back then many iraqi muslims,jews,christians,and others used to live in peace.Its sad that zionist assholes lied to the iraqi jews and drove them out of their mesopotamian homeland :(.I started crying after watching this.Iraq lost its jews,iraq is nothing without these people as well as other iraqis.
