  • According to the constitution, every moron has the right to invent their own gibberish language ... just spend a few hours reading comments on youtube and you'll see what I mean!

  • what i love about this is that they think obama overreaches on economic issues, yet they were begging him to override state and local government to kill the community center project!

  • Palin supporters should be ashamed of themselves, but they aren't because they aren't smart enough. They refudiate the mosque as well probably.

  • @KeenTrager Tim Mcvrigh was no Christian!!!!!!!

  • Simple soution to this whole thing. Twitter needs to add spell-check.

  • i'd refudiate Sarah Palin any day

  • There are 3 Christian churches around the site of the Oklahoma City bombings, Tim McVeigh was christian... do the math.

  • @happydaiz82 the reason is, the people most vocal against the mosque, are fox news, right wing, birther/tea party types. we should not bow to these people. step one is "the mosque shouldn't be near the site" and how close is too close? what's step 2? no mosques in NYC? the point is, the rule of law and the freedom of religion in the U.S is what the country is about. it's not a jihadist wahhabi mosque. should they never build churches in spain because of the jews tortured in the inquisition?

  • @BillKiernan Absolutely Muslims have suffered too and yes freedom that we have built in the West should not be abused by anybody at all and this should include the people fighting to have the Mosque at that location. I just don't understand why the persistence with that building, ALL parties should agree to select somewhere else and not necessarily the other side of town, just not a building affected by that awful day. Btw I'm not religious at all but I do respect individuals beliefs.

  • @happydaiz82 "I just think respect where it's due for the innocents that died in the name of this religion at the hands of extremists" I wasn't (necessarily) calling you a bigot. honestly, i don't like the idea of the mosque/center there either, i just don't like islam period. but, i support its right to be there, because it's not at "ground zero" for one, and for another, again, MUSLIM americans died in the attack on the towers. as did atheists, etc. they have every right to build there.
