@snowmchristv well in my league we don't hit comebackers. A 100 mph ball at a guy 60 ft away could be deadly. We consider it the same as throwing a ball at a guys head in baseball.

This pitch is going 10-mph, you should be able to make sure you don't hit a come-backer.

Ive brought this up before and gotten some good and bad responses in cases like this where the pitcher is valnerable and we are usingcomp bats. Is there now way of making a hit like this an auto out it would cause guy to be more respectful, I dont think this hit was intentional if it was the batter should get the F out of the game but if this was an out batters would be much more carefu. The rule of course would be up to the umps discretion whether the pitcher could get out of the way or not

@heather2good4u First time I've played slow pitch softball. I'm a 23 year old has been pitching and have been hit in the shin and throwing hand through 6 games. Today someone hit a line drive that happened to be in the exact spot to the millimeter that my glove was. I never saw it hit and I didn't even squeeze when it went in my glove. Sounded like a gunshot from the outfield and that was hitting the web.
