Anyhow, why are there no TV programs on Perso-Hellenistic and Hasmonean Yehud? The Hasmoneans' territory was the closest any Jewish kingdom ever got to fulfilling the dream of all the land from "Dan to Beersheba" being united.

@N00bcrunch3r The book lies on my desk right now. Actually, I am a medieval archaeologist, but every now and then I start having an affaire with a different period or geographical scope. I hope you will enjoy the book, it is nicely written and understandable for everyone and, this is more important, "still available at fine bookstores everywhere". Good luck!
