@BOHUNTER hey im new to knapping i can do the scissor pattern just find but what im wondering is do u use the platforms off of that or do you straighten the edge up some before u start thinning it out and also is these blue glass tiles easier to knap than tv glass

yo bowhunter, been trying knapping with the copper rod but the point isn't
pointed just round as in a dowel end.. working rounder chip mark not a V
shape on the edges,grabs great , any comments ? thanks

@ArtisanTony Thanks and glad you have endured my knapping! LOL I believe I retaped over this tape. I use Adobe Premier and it will do everything, problem is when you remeber the change in contrast it takes FOREVER to render 10 minutes of video let alone 2 hours of it! LOL Ill work another piece one day in the light for yall! STEVE

i've used this type of glass b4. a glass artist gave it to me. that particular glass is really hard. hard to pressure flake. it's the recipe. it's been hardened/tempered. it's like 25$ a slab by the way. it comes in a lot of colors but it is dang hard to work.

@mwalkingwolfm actually you can purchase this glass tiles for 10 bucks or less from jason @kentuckyknappers . com, make sure you tell him BOHUNTER sent ya! I like the glass too! LOL I dealt with Ronnie Hazlett and he has since taken this site over. Its fairly soft you must abraide a nice platform though.

It made a beautiful Green Ross which was featured inthe 2009 Flintknappers Calendar.
The video was full, but somehow I had the feature on INDOOR and this is why the video is blue. was disappointing cause it is such a nice tutorial and finished Ross Blade! Thanks Steve
