slow bios ^^

Lol, the M4 boots so fast that my dad's new computer won't display the homepage on Firefox if it is in Startup, the internet takes too long to connect.

@nickcpc nice, men, u really know, x79 rocks, i my self don't like 1156 nor 1155, dunno, just hated,like 6 months ago i was on 775 with c2q, and wanted to get an upgrade, eventhough 1155 was cheaper i still prefered 1366, so that's what i have right know, just need some final touches and will be ready to fire up, i've been waiting for 2011 a lot, maybe i'll save some money and wait for ivy bridge-E on x79. in case u play BF3 i'll like u to add me > m4st3r_iNf3rNuS

Your Firefox is 10x faster than mine. It's a hellish experience on HDD here.

@valkiris although I did like your reply, my monitor is actually 1280x1024, which actually translates to a 5:4 aspect ratio. I am probably going to go widescreen soon though, thinking about a Dell Ultrasharp 24"...
-
@RoxGFX It's a 4:3 ratio, so it doesn't meet the definition of a square, which is comprised of four congruent sides.

@C3H80 Pretty sure it's around 16GB
A 60GB ssd should be fine if you only intend to have a few high priority games / programs on it.

How much space does Windows take up? I do not know what size of a ssd i should get...I intend to use it as my boot drive and also to store photoshop.
nice 15 secs for total boop up, hope y can get faster results. oh and btw in this vid, was the ssd's firmware already updated??

@iNf3rNuSdI4bLuS1 Thanks - probably should be able to get faster with a clean Win7 install as mine had a lot of rubbish on. And no, was running on 0002 in the vid, so 0309 has improved it further. I am thinking about doing a new video soon, but I have a new CPU and mobo (currently running a i7 3930K on a UD5) though that may change soon too.

@C3H80 - a standard Windows install is about 15GB. If you have another hard drive to store the actual Photoshop files you create, a 64GB M4 should be plenty.
