I'm a total beginner in RC and this is the video of my first hover.

See, it is not that hard, a little perseverance is all that is needed.

It is true that a bigger heli is more stable and easier to start off with compared to a smaller heli.

It was worth the money and hope to keep crashes low.

  • Nice Job! I myself didnt start with a Trex 500 but with an e-flite Blade SR, then MSR, then Blade 400, then Align Trex 450, then Trex 600 and back down and settled on the Trex 500 and still learning. Everyone is different as far as how they learn but I would recomend a neck strap, it keeps your mind off the wieght of transmitter.

  • @beastyfourpointsix Damn right, the neck straps helps a lot. I just moved to FBL, will get some videos out soon but yeah if you want to know a shortcut, go FBL or Beastx, it takes a load off the learning curve. Some say it is good to but others say you will miss the experience. Try FBL :)

  • Understand what you mean, that's why I'm really scared to crash this heli as the parts are really expensive. Two crashes in a month and I'm out of budget till the next month. Hey, upload your videos of RC Heli!

  • Training gear and neckstap

  • Kapcai. Macam kat MY aje ni. Good for you. I didnt know bits about flying heli when I crashed one out of the box :(

  • thumbs up

keep up the good work my friend

  • Two major mistakes here. 1.) Poor choice of location - need more space, and an especially bad spot near a public road. 2.) You should use training gear for your first hover. Otherwise, not a bad job.

  • Way to go!!!

    feel the adrenaline? hehe

  • very nice way to learn flying ,,there are many different ways ,,this is straight jumping in ,,very brave man

  • I hope to keep crashes low but one thing is true. Rc Shops are running only with the sell of rc helicopter parts.

Unfortunatelly one see people on net with a sponsor behide him or he itself is a Rc shop owner and they thing that they will fly also like them soon. After many crashes and with little results they leave the hobby with empty wallet .
