Open mic night at the Jacaranda in Liverpool, England during a Beatles Pilgrimage tour in August 2009. This is the song I performed, to the tune of Those Were the Days

The audience sang along and thumped their tables robustly in rhythm! Once there was a group of Beatle pilgrims: From the States they came across the pond. Dragged around by Richard and Our Jackie. Turns out that we formed a lasting bond Got a chance to shop a bit at Harrods; Windsor, Bath and Royal Albert Hall Had a lovely lunch at lovely Richoux, hoping for a glimpse of lovely Paul! Learned to use the Tube to traverse London; joined the thousands here from every land Gathered there to mark Abbey Road crossing, and Sgt. Peppers Only Dart Board Band! Liverpools our Mecca! Its fantastic! Forthlin Road and Mendips; Albert Dock. LIPA, Mathew Street, the River Mersey; haunting streets our Fab Four used to walk! Soon well all return back to our cities: Memories of John, George, Ringo, Paul: Lori, Abby, Will, Sue, David, Muellers a splendid time was guaranteed for all!
