Two BNSF Cream & Green EMDs lead 130 loaded coal hoppers East through Grandville, Michigan. The land barge is bound for the Essexville Power Plant, near Saginaw, MI. Two pushers are also trailing, one C&G and one sharp-looking EMD bringing up the rear. The pushers are coupled up before the train climbs the hill out of the Kalamazoo River Valley near Saugatuck, then are kept on for the train's climb out of the Grand/Thornapple river Valley east of here. They are normally cut off at Elmdale Siding before running light back to Holland.
Filmed at Wilson St. in Grandville, Michigan on 11-3-11
