I am a member of class of 1971. When I started college in 1967 studying Electrical Engineering, Computers, and Management, everyone told me that the world will be my shelter. Surprise! When I graduated, the cover of Time or Newsweek magazine had picture of a graduate pumping, with graduation gawn and working in a gas station.
32 years later, and as a Senior Managment and Technology Consultant, let me assure you that there will be better times ahead. Education is a life time investment for a better life.
Pleasew do best you can humanly do each day in seraching for the next job while refining and improving your marketable skill set. Remeber: We are the CEOs of our lives, therfore, CEOs of our work and careers.
