ya there really good better then bose (trust me a checked b4 i went to buy them) everything is balanced on these headphones and i mean everything so ya u should really check these out i got them at guitar center

@tikitikitembo100 nope it will look like the it is only made for stereo but that big plug in just screws right off^^ and the cards is a bit lig but i just zip-tied it it the length that i liked

@ 4:58 when you mentioned how some people say wheres the bass. Well studio headphones are not designed to sound enhanced with extra bass or a wider, more crisp sound. Actually their men't to sound raw.

The reason is because when the studio guys go to mix and master songs they want a good representation of what it will sound like, rather than some enhanced headphones that lie on the quality. The more Flat and raw they are the easier it is to get that true sound on devices that play audio.

yes these r studio headphone , not really meant for listen to ipods they r meant for mastering . i would say u need a good pair of ear buds for ur i pod lol , but great video !

@smartdecisions Also, the choice of headphones has almost nothing to do with why the Tenacious D album sounded well mixed. That album sounded well mixed because of the experienced engineers with the talent to mix and master that quality of sound.

And before I get flamed, I own a pair of these, and they are very good quality for nighttime mixing or if you need a different point of view on your mix.

I'm sorry but this seems like a misrepresented review. These phones weren't meant for iPod or other use. And when you said, "They are better than Bose." Do you mean the whole brand? Because there are better headphones made from Bose, just not in the same price bracket, in my opinion.

And they're not isolation headphones, they're just headphones with a flat-EQ so it represents the true EQ.

For general iPod/mp3 use, you shouldn't spend the money on these. Spend the money on some cheaper phones
