Annotations are a little easier to follow in full screen ;)
This video shows new tactics, strategy and gameplay for the Spy update's Ambassador, Dead Ringer and Cloak & Dagger in Team Fortress 2. It is a total guide to playing the new spy. The video assumes that you are already familiar with how the spy plays normally - if not, a good thing to watch would be EvilDaedalus' video "How to play the spy" to get an introduction.
Outtakes are at the end!
The Sniper/Spy update for Team Fortress 2 brought three new items for the Spy to use. The Revolver can be replaced by the Ambassador, a slower firing gun which does critical hits on headshots. The Cloak has two possible replacements: the Dead Ringer, which cloaks the spy and feigns his death for up to 8 seconds when the spy is damaged; or the Cloak & Dagger, which is a cloak drained only by movement. It also regenerates more slowly than the original cloak.
The music in this video comes from the game files of TF2. The first one is called "Petite Chou-Fleur" (French for "Little Cauliflour") and the second is called "Right Behind You." Both are performed by the Valve Studio Orchestra and were first used in the Meet the Spy video on Steam. Or rather leaked on YouTube... I also sprinked in a couple of other game sounds, see if you can spot them :) You can find all the game sounds inside C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\team fortress 2 content.gcf -you will need a GCF viewer like GCFscape to open it though.
I made the video by saving demo files ingame, then recording the best clips with Fraps, and piecing the whole lot together in Windows Movie Maker. Really ought to get a better program for this stuff some day...
The video was recorded at 1280 * 720 at maximum graphics, so apart from Movie Maker's publishing process and YouTube's rebublishing... it should look the same as I played it. Although Fraps didn't exactly help the framerate. If Youtube is behaving you should be able to press the HD button and get it in lovely 720p :P
This was recorded with an Nvidia 8600GT and an AMD Athlon X2 5600+ dual core 2.8GHz processor, which can about handle the game, but when you introduce fraps which records video at about ten MB per second my hard drive rather struggles. Solid state drives are still a little expensive for me by an order of magnitude or so. :P

So thanks leet jeep sklz, at five deaths, you are the most victimised person in this video :) And thanks to Corecannon the invisible spycrab for singing across half of my clips:
