@ColaAlchoholic Yeah, Boxer has achieved a lot... Just be the top 5-10% of your passion and the funding always follows... Boxer is a living example of that. A 30 Year old Pro Gamer still inspiring the world.. And makes more $ than the Developers.

@ColaAlchoholic North-American and Europeans players like idrA can make a bunch of money by streaming their games live and putting ads in between games. Depending on the amount of views, you can get quite the salary.

@BIAXlD3NT Thats an understatement there is a reason that very few "foreigners" are seen on the SC seen

playing starcraft is a job? where do I sign up?
If they are getting addicted to games, skipping school, and throwing away their future, then that's sad. But Boxer earns $300,000 U.S. a year just playing starcraft. He has tons of fans, tons of money, a DVD set featuring his plays, and voted the greatest professional gamer of all time. This is his job and he has succeeded. Sure, playing starcraft doesn't serve any "greater good," but does that mean Tiger Woods is lame for wasting his life trying to hit golf balls into holes?

what does it matter if they are teenage or not. You dont understand exactly how big starcraft is in korea, it is literally apart of there culture. It is the biggest game in there country. And you also make it seem like playing video games is looked down upon if there not a kid. Personally i think your views are skewed when it comes to video gaming xboxlivefreak.
