@sbrebrown Yes, that's the one. I quite enjoy it - it's intelligent and humourous (British humour, of course! ;) ). I've not seen the Jeremy Brett version, so I couldn't tell you how it compares. Perhaps you can give the new one a shot and see for yourself whether you'll like it. :)

@sbrebrown I was referring to La Couronne ;) no, I do not have pockets that deep yet!

@Lukergamer Wait a minute - you own a Conway Stewart? Never told me that :-)! And clearly, the hat's the star of the video :-)!

They do have amazing service. Never been disappointed.

Your hat has reminded me that I need to catch up on Sherlock (the TV series)! ;)
Cursive italic nibs are fun to use. I have one (not a Conway Stewart, though I've tried one - pretty nice) and use it often for calligraphy. Your pen is neat - and eye-catching!. :)

@mkglobetrotter Do you refer to that new series, set in modern-day UK? Is it any good? As far as I'm concerned, Jeremy Brett is still THE Sherlock Holmes ;-).

Have been using my medium italic 100 for a couple of weeks now and I have to say this is the worst nib I've ever used. It skips like mad regardless of which angle I use. Might have to send it in for service. Not impressed with Conway Stewart right now.

@ttgtaylor Hm, that sucks! I have to say my CS italic is a bit picky too: it likes smooth paper and it detests more textured paper. My nib has a fairly small 'sweet spot' too: angle it slightly off-key and it won't write well (whereas the Platinum Music nib, for example, will write under pretty much any angle). However, my CS nib does write. Perhaps there's something wrong with yours?
