@tweetyaja Other way around actually. The IBM System/360 came out in 1964, and forty-one years later the Xbox 360 came out. Guess which system will still be talked about in another forty or so years?

LOL Microsoft gave us Xbox360, then IBM gave us IBM 360!

Though it is in the past, watching this video has the effect on me like watching a science-fiction movie.

I was an IBM 360 operator! WOW! Did we feel like we were on the cutting edge! (Of course there was no 360 software at the time...so, we had to run it in 1401 emulation!)

@mduncan81 well i mainly meant because there huge, and to watch reels moving all night.

@btown2011 It was noisy. It could be kind of creepy on night shift operations when you think you are alone and can't hear someone open the computer room door, walk up to your console, and scare the hoohah out of you.
