Well saying the big bang happened at a certain time isnt really correct, because the theory suggests that time didnt exist until the big bang occured.

I cant explain how the big bang happened. But its not too hard to understand that the earth appearing to sit in a good poistion. If you have trillions of planets, than a large number of planets will be in a 'sweet spot' that could support life.

The holy books give supernatural explanations to what we now know are natural events. This was during the infancy of our species when we feared the weather and thought illness was a punishment from God. We were all blind to science and the natural explanations for everything. In darkness the blind man is your best guide but when the light comes it is foolish to use him. We still have a lot of growing up to do but we have made a few small steps.
