@kryptomanik i dont mean the story, but the gameplay its self. the battle system in xiii was a huge turnoff for me, but the biggest and most unacceptable problem was the extremely linear plot and the lack of world to explore there were no towns and only one shop. and the the world that you DO get to explore is, while nice looking, is bland and boring and may as well not even been put in. it wasn't a true FF... but a somewhat lackluster spin-off that showed the nextgen grafics of SE.

@BDevilScholar i agree with VII and IX but everything besides the plot in VIII sucked... sorry... but i gotta hate on XIII CAUSE IT IS THE WORST FINAL FANTASY EVER! WTF SQUARE WHY MUST YOU KEEP TRYING TO CHANGE THE GAME!!! XII was ok-ish the story wasn't that great and the fighing system was ok too, but XIII was a pile of crap...
