You're lucky you didn't lose one of your fingers. But you did a great with that stone axe. I couldn't have done better.
-
@ivojara : just a tip mate, it is best to hold things like that in a vice when drilling if you like your fingers ;)
-
when drilling in stanless you need to drill at a slow RPM, I use a drill press (slow speed) drill pilot hole 1/8 or 1/4 inch first, then use the size bit you need.
-
When drilling ss it is imperative to use a cutting fluid and a good quality hss bit and always drill a pilot hole first as this will later releive the chisel point of the larger diameter drill bit
-
Well Lets see the the smoke dude. This looks like it will put out faster than your hole
in the end can take it be careful you might have to catch the HHO thru the water vents KEEP GOING
-
You can use a punch to put the hole in the ss

Nice work - you're way ahead of me ! Who was the 'guru' you mentioned?
By the way, a bench grinder and a short lesson in drill sharpening will help stop your bench from being burned {;^)
The Guru is Zerofossilfuel (search for him here, he's has great material.), And regarding the drill, a little water and les speed would have helped also, but I found out after drilling (I'm not that good with tools) :)
