Yep, because if the roles were reversed, I would hope that person would do the same thing for me. I mean, you find out you are a parent, and the person who believed they were the parent, wont let you see your child. I would never expect anyone to be that cruel to me, so as much as it would hurt, I would do what was best for the child and the real parent and give her up. Thats called being selfless and putting your feelings aside to do what is right. Apparently Philip doesnt know what that means.

.....so thats his excuse for causing Shawn and Belle's life to be turned into a living hell, having to worry constantly about their kid being taken away from them? Because HIS life was falling apart? A true man would have stepped back and let Shawn take over. I get it was hard for Philip, but he needs to put himself in Shawn's shoes. Had the roles been reversed, Philip would be telling Shawn to back off too so he could have a chance to raise his daughter.

oh honey I wrote this two years ago...they arent even on the show anymore why are you still obsessing about it? And btw, within that two years he has found out hes a father and he pretty much threw his kid in the trash, he didnt want to be a father to his little boy. That tells you he just wanted Belle and used Claire to get to her.

Phillip was there and helped claire, did you expected him to go and not helping claire, grow up!!! @blondeqtangel007 Plus this is called soap tv not in real life, soap need a damn good interesting story. If phelle vs shelle never happen it shelle would end up like bope and john marlena boring and tired for the same thing over and over. But not for phelle they are the HOTTEST couple history in Days for me who could ended up in super couple, but unfortunelity complaining shelle fans would grow and grow so therefore writers have no choice ending phelle being together.

@blondeqtangel007 Hey blame the writers,they make phillip especialy talent actor like jay turning in a stupid selfishness way not realize what is the best for belle and claire.Jay deserve much more than that, but still it worked perfectly at the end. FromJanuary2007 to March2008,I will never ever forget that time with Phelle vs Shelle,Phille fighting to the end is epic story! FormJan2008 toMarch 2008 Phelle played so smart and smooth and phillip did let belle go for shawn. I still felt emotional

@blondeqtangel007 Well phillip did back off at the end when beautifull belle and shawn left, is that still not enough? Phillip is a loveling character that KEEPS fighting until it is not enough which make the show very interesting and watchable, if phillip backed off much earlier, days would be boring, we need some fighting and screaming and that did happen, at the end that is what you wanted and if you still complained then you have a serious prob. Phelle4life!
