you dumbass

@daktrdre bull shit depends on the CPU.. mine does 1.41volts for a year now without any issues running max like 60 degrees in games... not bad at all mine needs a LOT of juice even on 1.35 its crashes even with different VTT
-
3.8Ghz is BEAST UNLEASHED.. i got this proc its fucking awsome!
-
@UcDesertEagle if you increse to 8gb, but 4 sticks of ram, it will be harder ( I had 4gigs before and now have 8 ), you than have to upp some volts, because it puts more stain on the cpu,
if you want to find out the max of ram, try to leave the cpu at or below default and increase the bclk, probably you could run 1800mhz at cl9 or 1600 at a lowered cl8, depends on the quality of ram,

@daktrdre Cool. Thx.....Well I managed to OC my 76 to 3.2Ghz with 212+. Temps are 40c minus air cond. Might get a 20mm fan and OC more.
Thx by the way

@benjaminzer only if you undervolt, tested the stock cooler on the i5 750, got 72°C exactly at stock : - )
-
@gamerdragon89 too high, the 750 can do that on 1,2v, and in the video, he is running 3.8 at 1,21,
1,35 is way to high for that, that is okay for 4ghz on the 750, maybe 4,1 or 4,2 on the 760
-
the 760 is a beast, I have the same mobo, my i5 750 has to have 1,30625 at 3.8, so your setup is green in comparison : - )
yo dude. what cooler did you use?

@pumbakung *yawn thats intel speedstep. clocks the chip down to low speed when its idle.

Thanks XxaravixX! I am about to try OC'ing for the first time. (I was going to use the "3-step" process you may be familiar with) I'm wondering if your settings might be a shortcut. I have a i7 875k and 1333 ram (I already have the cas latency timings set accordingly). Also, I have a Thermaltake Silent 1156 CLP0552 92mm CPU Cooler - any idea whether or not this will be sufficient? I use my computer as part of a recording studio, and i've been fighting against limited cpu resources of late.

@steveschizoid hey dude im not too sure on overclocking that cpu with 1333mhz ram. atleast have 1600 cause once the cpu is linked with the ram it tends to send ram frequencies to 1600 or more
