Barack Obama's presidential nomination acceptance speech shown at Dawn at Opulent Temple at Burning Man 2008. For many in the crowd, this was the first they heard that Obama did in fact get the Democratic nomination for President. Near the end of the video the DJ mixes Obama's speech into dance music and the crowd continues dancing.

Haha, you'd really get that upset because they played a nomination acceptance speech? It's not like they were blaring propaganda or anything. It was as much an news service as anything else - most people I talked to that night had no idea that he won the nomination until they announced it during the dance party. I thought it was kind of cool how they merged it into the music.

Bleh... do you think Burning Man has any place in Obama and his Communist Cadre's plans? When Obama's America comes to reality things like Burning Man will be a thing of the past. I'm confused. On one hand you say Burners are dumb fucks about politics, and then praise Obama. So are you presuming Burners are against Obama? While I certainly don't speak for everyone who visits Burning Man, I can say that the vast majority of people that I talked with last year were ardent Obama supporters.

Don't mistake some jerky comments to this video as a blanket anti-obama statement.
