All the mods included on the 2011 Mustang V6 include a C&L Cold Air Intake, Bama 93 Tune, and BBK Long Tube Headers and Off Road X-Pipe. I had the Roush Axle Back Exhaust and it was just too loud for my daily driver. I wanted to see how much the stock exhaust would dampen the sound to see if the axle back is all I would need to change or if I should've gone with a Catted X-Pipe and the answer was clear to me. Stock exhaust and BBK LTs and OR X-Pipe is not loud at all. My Roush without the BBKs was louder. I now want to get some high flow axle backs, maybe the Borla Touring. I will say that I feel the car a little more torquey. Maybe because of the additional back pressure but I don't believe that I have sacrificed much hp if any at all. At least now I can drive my car and hold a conversation with a passenger!

  • I think either the Borla touring or S-type will sound great!

  • @jmc6000 Thats the plan because stock sound sucks!

  • any drone when you had just the roush axle backs

  • hey bro i love your dyno vids but i have a question. When you did the dyno runs before and after the BBK long tube headers and x pipe did you run the stock factory driveshaft? & also is your stang manual or auto?

  • Almost like V8 :)

  • @jiujitsufighter123 No, but in some states, the O/R X pipe is. Most states require that you keep your cats.

  • You answered my question thank you. I have a 2012 v6 with flowmaster 40 series mufflers and i will be putting headers and an x-pipe soon. I want the off road x-pipe but i did not want it to be too loud. So now i know i will be fine with my stock mufflers and the off road x-pipe. Thank you for posting this video.

  • At 0:33 why does it sound like your going fast when your barely passing people up?

  • Wait aren't long tube headers illegal?

  • whats the speed limit on the highway over there?

  • I prefer that sound to that of some v8's, god that is good sounding for a v6.
