i think one of the best reasons i love Rome is its people. Macedonia would be heck alot different without Alexander. not just that area but the world.
-
I'm saying that without the Etruscans there couldn't be a Rome either...that is all. BTW Classical Rome goes hand in hand with Etruscan, aswell. If anything the Kingdom would make more sense, since the Eastern part became more Greek than Roman.
-
So you can actually say without Ancient Greece there would still be an Ancient Rome? Are you that idiotic? I'm talking about Classical Rome, not the Roman Kingdom.

OWN!

Nonsense?! Many of the root innovations were diffused to them by the ETRUSCANS, yes that inludes the arch. Rome created its own style of Gov. (Roman Law.) Romes Gods were parallel to Greek God's. Ex: Zeus=Jupiter, Venus=Aphorodite,Hares=Mars. BTW all civilizations in classical Antiquity, NO! Egypt and Phoenicians Greatly influenced the Greeks Civilization..

Rome was heavily influenced by Greece, without Greece there would be no Rome; at least a Rome we know today. All civilizations in Classical Antiquity OWN!

"The celts were the fist mojor road builders in europe"

I am Greek but i don't want any fight but in my opinion Rome was based on Greece.A can tell by their structures. We don't need to quarrel about ancient civilizations but admire each one!

lol crap, the celts lived in huts when the Romans were building roads. All the major roads in england are old roman roads, you will know them as the long very straight roads.
