It's obvious the bat would bend, I mean where would the shock go? It would have to absorb the shock.

It's interesting that they showed pictures of broken maple bats but they decided to test an ash bat. It would have been awesome if they could have tested ash, maple, yellow birch, and bamboo to find each bats breaking point per PSI and at which spots.
