It's what I was told about China Glaze. If u google u get different answers...like this one...

China Glaze

China Glaze is a very popular brand that specializes in nail lacquer. It commonly releases plentiful amounts of trendy color. All of its nail polishes are formaldehyde, DBP, and toluene free. Some of its hardeners, however, contain formaldehyde.

I would just be careful what you put on your kids nails, cuz kids could eat chips of the polish!
