Southern Crossup: NZ National Fighting Game Tournament

Standing Fierce proudly presents Southern Crossup, New Zealand's premier national fighting game tournament. Southern Crossup on the 16th of July will be the biggest ever fighting game tournament held in New Zealand.

Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition (SSF4)
Marvel vs Capcom 3 (MVC3)
Mortal Kombat 9 (MK9)
Tekken 6 (T6)
Blazblue: Continuum Shift 2 (BB:CS2)
Street Fighter 2: Hyper Fighting (SF2:HF)
Street Fighter 3: Third Strike (SF3:3S)
When:
16th of July 2011, 11:00am to 7:50pm.

Where:
Grey Lynn Library Hall, 474 Great North Road, Grey Lynn, Auckland.

Entry Fees:
$10 entry fee if paid before 9th of July. $20 entry fee after 9th of July. $15 per game.

Cash prizes totalling over $1500 will be given away to the top 3 winners for each tournament game.

Timetable:
The times listed below are approximate only!

Registration for SF2:HF and BB:CS2 closes at 11:20am. Games start at 11:30am.
Registration for T6 and MK9 closes at 12:00pm. Games start at 12:30pm.
Registration for SSF4 and SF3:3S closes at 1:00pm. Games start at 1:30pm.
Registration for MVC3 closes at 1:30pm. Games start at 2:00pm.
Spot prizes given out at 3:30pm, followed by a 30 minute break.
Auckland vs Wellington 3S exhibition match and Auckland vs Christchurch CVS2 exhibition match at 7:00pm.
Doors close at 8pm.

Misc:
Bring your own controllers, especially if you are a pad player. Two MCA sticks will be available for use in the SF2:HF tournament for those who are used to playing on fish'n'chip shop cabinets (although we can't guarantee these will be available for your match!).
