This sucks. This is definitely how you do it, but it's worthless. Intuitively you do know where to look--under the tab "Collections shared with me." Unfortunately that's broken.
If you're in a group, and a collection is shared with that group, then that collection is shared with you. I can't believe they still haven't fixed this.
