  • @KargKarg Agreed. They did have whats-her-name in Season 4 (Bridgett?) who sucked, and there was the occasional chica who couldn't fight, but on the whole, it's filled with wimpy men.

Yes, I know this is a year after you posted it.

  • Hahaha! Love this part.

  • Great scene!

  • Haha Jack is so badass!

  • I mean equality is when both positive and negative strong and weak roles are all played by women. If they want to have bad ass women in a show they should balance it by having weak and wimpy female characters as well. Other wise we will end up with:

    Strong Males + Strong Females

    But ONLY

Weak and wimpy Males that is what makes it SEXIST!

On top of that people are afraid to have women characters who lose fights easily due to the PC mafia who want every woman to be a martial arts expert!

  • Yes but it isnt just male guards that Sydny takes down easily lot of males are presented as non-fighters who go down easily many a time with one punch. Then also to add another point if we are trying to balance out female heroines with male ones by adding women like Sydny, then they should also add female villains and other weak females just like males to balance that side out as well. Why do we only try to equate on positive characters women should play negative characters as well.

  • @KargKarg haha. sort of true. but if you think about it, how many guards do you know of that are women? usually security guards/bodyguards/etc are men. and this show was kind of based around bad ass women spies, i don't think it was intentional sexism.
