The 1977 280Z project is finally complete. The LS1 V8 from a 2001 Trans Am works flawlessly. Check out the first burnout.

  • Typical americans putting slow V8`s in everything, the l28 twin turbo would have given you over 600hsp even with e85 you can go over 650 horsepower easily. I have a 240z twin turbo l28 so i know what i`m saying.

  • @slyzxx1 Where is the video? I want to see it!

  • @kdgraben whether there is a video or not 600hp is easily achieved with the l28 especially if you bore it out to an l30. i hate when ppl put v8's in impots that do not need them. almost every import is capable of putting out mass number with mods and when you put those heavy v8's in them you throw off the weight balance so ur car wont turn for shit which is what imports were made for. keep your v8's in cars that were made to go in a straight line.

  • @kloozyful the LS1 engine actually weighs less than the I28 genius. Please send me some video of an I28 on the dyno with 600hp? What do you drive? Back up your stupid comments with experience.

  • v engines roar and inline engines make same "spectacular" noises as my vacuum cleaner :)

  • @DaKattila

Just from that message i can tell you have no knowledge what so ever on cars...

  • @slyzxx1 v8 is so fucking cool engine compared to little peace of japanece shit.

  • Not low enough, and too shiny.

  • @kdgraben wered you get the mounts and everything at? looking to buy a z and doing the same thing.

  • @UsernameStillPending The LS1 is a light weight, high horsepower replacement for the stock Datsun engine. What have you done with your car? This is a lot more fun to drive than a Toyota Corolla.

  • @kdgraben american muscle? i think you mean american obesity!.... you're probably just like your cars engine; unreliable, over-sized, and really bad on fuel. shame on you for defiling such a gorgeous machine with shit you call an engine. No wonder american cars last only a max of five years, but a Japanese or European car will last you a lifetime (if your not a dick and replace the engine with a piece of shit).
