The Wright State University and Premier Health Neuroscience Institute presented its first annual Neuroscience Institute symposium, Selected Topics in Translational Neuroscience, at Wright State University on Nov. 14. Presentations addressed the genetic epilepsies and GABAA receptor mutations, clinical perspectives in epilepsy surgery, interventional management of stroke and ion channel dysfunction during critical illness.

Bryan Ludwig, M.D., director of NeuroInterventional Radiology at Miami Valley Hospital/Premier Health, and a physician in practice with NeuroInterventional Specialists, Inc., in Dayton, Ohio, made this presentation.
