this is beautiful. it made me cry when the picture of the angels pushing the handcarts came up. i already loved this song. now it is more meaningful. i know the LDS pioneers sacrificed much in obedience to the Lord and that they are rewarded in heaven. I KNOW the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. and im glad im a member. I love the Lord with all my heart. message me if you have questions about the LDS (mormon) church. ^_^

The 17th-century Christian Puritans viewed the eastern coast of the New World as a promised land, one that they reached by crossing the desert, namely the ocean, while escaping persecution in Europe.
