The Marvelettes were an American singing girl group on the Motown label. Motown's first successful female vocal group, the Marvelettes are most notable for recording the label's first US #1 pop hit, "Please Mr. Postman", and for setting the precedent for later Motown girl groups such as Martha and the Vandellas and The Supremes.
Here they are singing "Don't mess with Bill". Indeed.
I love the choreography here! Very unique and classy!!!

My sisters anad cousins introduced me to this song when I was 3. I thought it was the "coolest" song ever. Still do!!

Great vocal group. Ability to change lead singers, no problem. Just awesome.

in my opinion, you are misguided to think that this Amazing group is anything less than the Ultimate Girl Group of the 60's. Gladys's voice is untouchable, as well is Wanda's for lead....they were young, new,and extremely talented, with very little support and recognition. my favorite group for at least 25 years...of course it is live...check out what happened at the last live performance with Wanda..wish her LUck.

I really like this video. I think because it's actually live and they sound really good.
