Just adjusted the chain on my Remington Pole Saw. It worked the same way--loosen the nuts and turning the screw. Wish I had listened to your warning to wear gloves because I scraped the skin off the top of my index finger on the chain. Ouch! As far as cleaning up the equipment after I have used it--I use my compressed airgun with my compressor. I could not understand a few words of this vid, but the visual was great! Thank you!

Thank you for this tutorial. Really helped me a lot, as my chain would come off numerous amounts of times.

Thanks, appreciate it very much!

Shouldn't you pull up on the bar before you tighten it up?

that's cool ! now I know how to adjust a poulan chainsaw chain !!!
You have some handy videos, can you do one on replacing the bar adjustment screw and pin? I have the new part but can't remember exactly how the washer goes. I could figure it out looking at it but I am in VA and am trying to talk my wife thru the process and she is in alaska. It would be handy to just be able to send her a link to a video. Thanks Brian

is there any performance advantage to changing the bar?

@patrickbuch usually shorter bar = more power, less chain to turn
