When Will The Greenville Drive In open for the 2010 Season? The website seems to not be working as of May 14th 2010

@prg333 Hi, and thanks for the comment. Sadly, this may not open for 2010. My good friends from the Diamond State in Delaware rented the property and ran it that year, but may not repeat this year due to low turnout in 2009. Keep the addresses just in case however...you never know.

Hello. I am sad to hear that there was low turnout for the 2009 season at the Greenville Drive in! I was looking to visit again this year! I live 2 and a half hours away and made the trip to visit last year!  Two first run movies for $8.00 is a steel!

Not much goes in in Greenville so one would expect that a good number of people would turn out on Fri,Sat and Sunday nights! With a new screen good food and a friendly staff!

Was it a rainy summer there in 2009?

@prg333 Yes, that was one of the issues for them. What could hve been good weekends were ruined by too much rain. Also, they're advertising efforts were too late due to the late decision to rent the property for that summer. The folks are trying to buy a drive-in currently, and there are some options. We're all hoping they can land on their feet and re-ignite a Drive-In soon!

Any action over at the Drive In? I hoped that another operator would have stepped in for this summer. I can't believe that the residents of Greenville would NOT flock to the Drive in! There are no other theatres close by.
