Geneva 2009: Nissan Qazana Concept

Nissan are an intriguing company. One half of the Renault-Nissan alliance, a brand portfolio that includes Infiniti - who are successful in the US but until recently didn't exist elsewhere, and whose own range spans from the Micra Euro-mini, through the Cube and right up the monster GT-R.

This Qazana concept, could signal a complete new direction for Nissan's next B-segment car. Ultimately, if the company is really brave, it's production version might replace the B-segment Micra altogether. Something Nissan has history of - launching the Qashquai crossover as replacement for the c-segment Almera hatch.

Whatever, this concept was one of the stars of Geneva. It's challenging in some respects, but has plenty of design details to catch the eye.

"Oh I can hear the NObama supporters raving about this now" blah blah blah! Well you know what i say to that?? Stick to your Ford Explorer or Chevy F150 then and leave this baby to ME!! All I can say is I want it, I want it NOW lol:) The only thing I wish is that it were a little bigger. I currently have a Nissan Rogue and before that an Element so it's a bummer that it looks like its gonna be cramped in there but ya know what? I don't care lol, I still want it. Now:) Mine:)

@MovementDesign I LOVE IT!! As a PROUD one time owner of an Isuzu Vehicross for a year back in 2003, I can honestly say this is the best vehicular day of my life (well second only to the day I drove off the dealer lot in my Vehicross). I was so afraid they would WOW us with the concept then completely break it down into something more "socially acceptable" if you will! I am so happy to see they kept it relatively close to the concept! I can just hear the puritans now lol:) "Oh it's so ugly"....

This car goes to production in a very different and, in my opinion, worse shape. I thought Qazana would be the iPhone of cars, but in reality, it will be a big disappointment for all who liked the concept car.
