@coffeshrap Pretty obviously... it was joke; ya know, that thing called "irony". The lyrics make the theme painfully obvious. It's about the struggle between God and Satan.

@tesfan4evr well first off I would check the history behind this album before instantly denying someone's views on the intent of the song. First we note that Neal Morse is a born again Christian and cut all ties to his secular bands to make Christian music, second This song was meant to be on his Christian label that bears his name, but felt it was more a transatlantic piece rather than his own labels style of prog.
Hence it is hard to deny with Spacedye that this is infact about God.
