found this group by accident today...blown away by the vocals this is another song to mark my summer....

I love this band. I wish they would come to Canada one day. I discovered them by accident, while reading an article on the "countrypolitan-sound" in the New York Times Sunday magazine. I bought Eveningland (and everything else) and never looked back. Sigh...

funny part, my last name is Hem:S

The first time I ever heard HEM was on the bad girls club. It was Not California. Which this was just recently. And the song gave me goosebumps--more or less, this girls voice gave me goosebumps. She's a beautiful voice. Every next song I hear I love right off the bat just the same. They are magic.

HEM is without a doubt one of the best bands around. The more you hear the more you want to hear. Please, if you guys read these posting consider touring in the Mid West. Some of the best songs I have heard in many many years.

I was lucky enough to discover Hem shortly after the release of Rabbit Songs. That record got me through the depression of 911. I have loved their music ever since and Rabbit Songs is one of the 10 I would take away to the deserted island
