The Spor Mountain range is an anomaly in Utah. Usually overlooked for nearby Topaz Mountain. This site is not famous for gold or silver mines, but has been diligently worked for years by miners for minerals such as Fluorite. The Bell Hill site was in excellent condition and the roadways were well marked. If you visit this site, please be respectful and leave everything as you find it. This includes relics, the Antiquities Act of 1906 makes it a federal crime to move or disturb any relics or artifacts that could be of historical significance. Gold Rush Expeditions strives to save these historic sites as a part of Utahs heritage. Unfortunately, Utahs Governor, John Huntsman, Jr. does not think these sites deserve saving. His office has been contacted numerous times and still the destruction continues. If you would like to join our protest please email Mr. Huntsman, or contact us via our website at www.goldrushexpeditions.com
