Thunderhill w/ NCRC on 4/30/2010 in S2000

First time at Thunderhill, still trying to learn the lines -- doing a 2:17 in this video in a Honda S2000. This is with the cyclone. Had a bit of an off at the end of this video at turn 8, shows what happens in a throttle situation where you miss the apex completely.

If you're wondering why I didn't turn more at turn 8, I'm not exactly sure, instinctively I probably decided that it was better to go into the run off than force a turn at that kind of speed and go sideways, I believe this turn is known for flipping cars.

OUCH....that hurt in 8!!!!!!!!!!! But I spun in 11 that day too!!

What color is your S2000...I was in your group...the old-ugly 928

@icemang17 I had the silver S2000 with the numbers 87 on them, your video looks like you were in Open, I was in Solo. Turn 8 seems like a really bad place to go off, so I'm lucky I came out with only a broken bumper lip. Turn 11 seems like a relatively safe place to spin right?

@danvuquoc hopefully you don't spin anywhere.....but almost any corner at Thunderhill is okay....vs a track like Infineon that is a car killer!!! I have spun in 3-11-13 at Thunderhill with no issues, other than my bruised ego!!
