Australia - I'll Never Let You Go

One of my greatest regrets is not seeing this movie on the big screen. I wanted to when it first came out and then the critics all said it wasn't good, so I believed them and never saw it until recently. And boy were the critics wrong.

Australia might be my favorite movie of all times.

It is everything all in one - an epic story, a love story, a justice story, a history story, a war story, and an adventure story all in one. There were moments when I was falling off the couch laughing, and times when I was reaching for the kleenex. I cannot get over how good this movie is. The scenes of Australia alone are breathtaking and the acting is wonderfully done. I cannot say enough good things about this movie.

So I couldn't resist making a video about it when I found the perfect song. Enjoy.

I'm so glad you actually watched it! This came out right before Thanksgiving and I actually got to leave work early that day so my best friend and I went to an afternoon show. We were pretty much the only people in the audience, but we LOVED it. Such a great film and one of my faves. The music is fantabulous, so imagine how psyched I was to recently do a search for the album -- it not having been released -- when it arrived on DVD and finding the score and songs on iTunes! Buy it, trust me. :D

If you haven't seen it - you have to promise me to get your hands on it in the next couple of weeks and watch it.  My husband and I just rented it from our library and ended up watching it three times in four days....that good (he loved it too)!
