Slim can be bought from any game store really. The XMB is an update on all PS3's

Well no. Theres loads of features. Whats new, different style of XMB. And - dynamic themes. Theres an Africa theme and more coming out that move.

Its just a FW update. The startup is slightly different on slim though.

On the top right, does it show the whats new thing? On mine it doesnt :( Just clock & amount of friends online.

i cant wait to get my new 120GB slim for xmas! im also getting a keyboard thing that attaches to the controller. and did u know if u buy the $300 120GB version, and NOT pay the extra $50 for the 250GB version, you can use those $50 to but a 320GB external at walmart!
