"一款叫做INDOMIE的印尼泡麵，被台北縣衛生局檢驗發現，醬包裡面竟然含有專門製造化妝品的防腐劑，而且麵條也含有超量的苯甲酸。衛生局今天一整天到新莊和板橋等店­家,進行抽查,已經強制業者全面下架。

打開醬油包,倒入泡好的泡麵,印尼泡麵香味四溢,但這一小包的醬油包卻摻雜了化粧品用防腐劑「對羥苯甲酸甲酯」, 就連麵條和內附的辣椒包也被檢出防腐劑「苯甲酸」超量.要追查下游通路,台北縣衛生局下午來到新莊這家雜貨店,發現印尼INDOMIE品牌泡麵,立刻下架回收,連要前來購­買的外籍勞工也都傻眼.

昨晚接獲民眾檢舉,台北縣衛生局今天中午開始陸續抽查新店,板橋和新莊等地店家,不只印尼雜貨店,衛生局人員也在知名量販店,發現INDOMIE品牌泡麵,也立刻貼上封條­帶回檢驗,賣場的人員不知情,只好配合下架.

泡麵醬油包內含的「對羥苯甲酸甲酯」具有強烈腐蝕性,在台灣是不准添加在食品內,只能用在乳液類化妝品,衛生局表示,如果吃下這種化妝品用防腐劑,可能導致胃痛和肝功能損­傷.

目前衛生局已經查獲2080包15種口味的印尼泡麵,將送到衛生署檢驗,衛生局也將繼續抽查,看看其他地方是否在銷售,不過從去年1月到現在,印尼這款泡麵已經進口超過1­千噸,而主要購買者多為印勞和印傭,有許多這類泡麵早已吃下肚.

yes, they do test their own food and beverage products.

few months ago, they tested their 'pearl' in pearl milk tea and some other taiwan food products containing (something dangerous to consume * I forgot the name edi) and stop sellers to sell them.
