Testing the signals on an ABS sensor on a 2008 Chrysler town and country. Thses are new sensors that are working properly. The old sensors were replaced due to codes C1020 and C102B. The voltage supply is at 12 volts and that is the wire where the speed sensor signal is seen

  • Thanks Bob. Been watching your vids and following your posts on the Snap-On forums. Good stuff. The WSS on the 07 up GM trucks are like this as well. I believe they are called magneto resistive sensors. Basically they are two wire hall effect sensors. Their signal is digital as well but the information in the Vantage Pro, Modis and Verus about how to test them is wrong, (at least the 11.2 was). I did some sample testing and saved the preset for the next one I need to test.

  • I am glad you posted this. I recently had a run-in with a 2007 grand caravan and could not get a trace on the Verus on the return wire when trying to test the sensor like the scope said. Glad I'm not crazy!
