  • Hey i thinking of getting 2 of these and use a Rockford Fosgate 6002

    150W x 2 @ 4-Ohms RMS

    300W x 2 @ 2-Ohms RMS

    600W x 1 @ 4-Ohms bridged RMS

So the question is "Should I wire them @ 2 ohms or @ 4

and how your 12s play since I haven't get a chance to hear them for myself

  • every woofer has 2 voice coil at 4 ohm.......so you can wire them at 1 ohm or 4 ohm.........so your amp in bridge is only knows 4 ohm.........so every woofer you must wire in 8 ohm and than both in 4...first you must wire in series than in paralel......

  • @steliacdavid Lol. I don't know where you get your information from, but no not all woofer have 2 coils and if they do have 2 coil they can be 2 2ohm or even 1 ohm coil or 8 ohm coil. You need to learn alot.

  • @delvinmacmillen18 friend look on specification on hifonics website....and than u can post

  • @steliacdavid And also friend you said every sub, not hifonics. And for future reference of the youtube world, woofers come in dual or single voice coil. In many different ohms for different application of amplifier. Do some studying then post yourself or be more clear about what your talking about. Ok, i an experience car audio enthusiast. This is my hobby. I very well educated in car audio from head unit to subs to amp and each wires. There is practically nothing that i dont know.

  • @delvinmacmillen18 i sad every sub because in this video are hifonics....and i speak about them...not generaly.....godd fpr you because you have a hobby like this but don't argue with me because i know my subs and i know specification:d,......no offence....i treat you like a friend

  • I have four of these in my 84 grand marquis lol. I insulated my car and I can still hear it! I'm also underpowering them by 100 a piece!

  • @ChineyHype1 If I were you I would look into getting a monoblock amp.

  • @steliacdavid Im sorry if it seem like im arguing. I was just making a point. Yes your ritge these subs are dual 4 ohm. They also have the bigger hifonics subs with dual 2 option. My friend has one and its very loud.

  • @steliacdavid Friend. I wasnt talking about hifonics subs. I was talking about subs in general. As you didnt state to what sub your talking about. I thought you was talking about sub in general. And you can wire 2 dual 4 ohm sub in parallel first then series, same shit any way.

  • Hes from Romania a a country in Europe

  • @ChineyHype1 This guy dont know what he is talking about. You dont need 2 amps unless you need the extra power to the subs, but this sub will blow if you put too much power. And if you get 2 amp your going to need to upgrade your whole electrical system top to bottom costing over $200 to $300. Get one of those RF p6002 and 2 of these subs in parallel both coils on each sub and cross them between the subs to bring the ohm to 4 ohm and bridge the amp. If you need more help i will get into details
