@whole27 To be honest, i don't know a hell lot about videography but i am a photographer so I can tell you from a photography point of view. In commercial photography "almost" everything is post-processed, BUT in order to have good color and contrast you must have a good "base" image to work with. The body may have some effect on the result, but it is mainly the lenses that give the image good color and a punchy contrast and sharpness.

@Clx1 yea but that's the thing, i hate the shallow depth of field shots...i personalyy think they look cheap and generic....i want everything in the frame to be clear and crisp and have great colors. Some of these vids have great colors....are they all color corrected to get that color? or is that the camera too? B/c if everything is corrected in post production, i can just use my Sony camcorder 550v with 1080i and don't need 1080p and a much better camera, right?
