Oh, my goodly gods alive. I forgot all about this film until now. I remember begging my mom to rent it for me from the local rental place, Wise Owl Video. I recall feeling both terror and enchantment at certain parts, specifically anything pertaining to the walking halberds and poleaxes, or that giant wheelie-mabob that was covered in spikes. Thanks for posting this, and for reminding me about an integral bit of nostalgia.

Finally!! Sooo many years I've been trying to figure out the name of this movie, I got redirected from a video of the Magic Paintbrush as all I remember about this movie was that it was about an Artist who went to a magical land.

Oh..my..good..god! I so remember this movie, and here I thought I was the only one who still did. For years, and I mean years I've tried to remember the name whenever I remembered it, but the only part I could rememeber was Cactus King's "Did you say..Did you say..BEAVER!?"
