I am featuring the Macy's "Lion King" performance from Dancing With The Stars on my Home Page Channel. For some reason I thought of Shannon and then the Lion King "Circle Of Life". Shannon has certainly gone the FULL "Circle Of Life" in her short 7 months. As I watch the video, it's my way of celebrating Shannon's safe return.

Hi Marc,

It has been mentioned that the baby has "hydrocephius". Shannon's grandmother mentioned that Shannon's mother had a large head also and it almost appears that this runs in the family.

I hate when Nancy says things like "There is a God. Baby Shannon is alive." I'm glad that she believes in God, but by saying that, it implies that God's existence is determined only when good things happen. Even if the baby had been found dead, there is still a God!

Just my pet peeve. :)

When I saw Shannon's picture, then Christine, Shannon's mother's picture as well as one of Shannon's aunt and the grandmother, they all have the same facial features. Shannon is a spitin image of her mother.

Blasted into the home? Ah, Nancy makes me laugh sometimes. Thank God Shannon is still alive. At least this is one story that didn't end in tragedy.

that baby is soooooooooo cute. she's also my friend's step cousin. what's kind of funny is, she wasn't alowed to watch this on the news, but I had told my friend that they weren't saying great things about the mom on the news and my friend was like "they should be! her mom's wacko!!"

Well yes, it looks that way because once a blanket is put in the chest with little baby bumpers around it, it gives that visual impression.

I didn't look at it that way. When I saw the cedar chest, I thought perhaps it was made up as a little crib to hold Shannon while she slept PRIOR to the lid being place on the chest.

Once that lid was placed on the cedar chest it immediatly became a possible coffin after 12 hours of being closed in.
